Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • 1. Read the Aims & Scope to gain an overview and assess if your article is suitable for this journal.
  • 2. The manuscript should be original and has not been previously published or under review by other journals.
  • 3. Ensure that all authors' identities have been filled in the metadata. The correspondence author should be registered as Primary Contact on the Contributor list.
  • 4. We encourage the author to check the template of their articles before submitting them using this page.
  • 5. Manuscripts content should be arranged in the following order: Title, Abstract, Introduction, Literature Review, System Design, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgment, and References
  • 6. Before submitting the manuscript to reviewers, it is first checked by the editor team for similarity/plagiarism. The manuscript submitted to Smart Techno must have a similarity score of less than 20%. An article that plagiarizes another author’s work or author's own will be rejected by Smart Techo Journal.
  • 7. The manuscript should be thoroughly reviewed for proper grammar before being submitted. Articles with poor grammar will be immediately rejected. The editors suggest Grammarly software to assist authors in checking their articles for grammar issues before submission.

Author Guidelines

1. Use the Smart Techno guide as a template when preparing the manuscript.
2. Ensure that each new paragraph is clearly indicated. Tables and figure legends must be presented on separate pages at the end of the manuscript. All pages should be numbered consecutively.
3. Manuscripts should be spellchecked using the facilities available in standard word-processing software. Extensive use of italics and bold formatting within the text should be avoided. Papers must be written in a clear, precise, and logical manner.
4. The Abstract should be informative and completely self-explanatory. It must clearly state the research problem, the proposed approach or solution, and highlight the major findings and conclusions. The abstract should be written in the past tense and have a length of 150–250 words.
5. The Keywords section provides an opportunity to include terms that may not appear in the title but are relevant for indexing and abstracting services. Appropriate and judicious use of keywords may improve the discoverability of the article.
6. The Introduction should present a clear background of the study, a well-defined problem statement, relevant literature, the proposed approach or solution, and the novelty or innovative value of the research. The content should be understandable to researchers from a broad range of scientific disciplines.
7. The Methods section should explain the research chronologically, including research design and procedures. The description of the research process must be supported by appropriate references to ensure scientific acceptability.
8. Tables and Figures must be centered and clearly labeled.
9. The Results and Discussion section should present research findings clearly and provide a comprehensive discussion that interprets the results in relation to existing studies and the stated objectives.
10. The Conclusion should clearly demonstrate consistency between the objectives stated in the Introduction and the findings discussed in the Results and Discussion section. It may also include future research directions and potential applications of the research outcomes based on the obtained results.
11. References must be cited in the text, and only cited references should be listed at the end of the manuscript. It is strongly recommended that the majority of references be published within the last five (5) years, except for seminal or foundational works that are essential to the study.
12. One author must be designated as the corresponding author and provide an e-mail address, as well as telephone and fax numbers.
13. Manuscripts that do not comply with these requirements will be returned to the authors for revision. Only manuscripts submitted in the correct format and style will be considered by the Editors.
