Peer Review Process

The submitted manuscript will go through a double-blind peer review process, where reviewers are unaware of the author's identity, and vice versa.

The standard review process will last for 10 to 14 weeks, depending on the readiness of the submitted manuscript.

Accelerated Review Opportunity: The review process may be expedited if the article quota (5 articles) for the upcoming edition has not yet been fulfilled. Early submissions with well-prepared manuscripts have the opportunity to receive much faster feedback and acceptance.

Workflow Step-by-Step

  1. 1 Manuscript Submission: Author submits the article through the journal system.
  2. 2 Initial Editor Assessment: The Editor evaluates the submission structure and scope:
    • If it fails basic requirements → Rejected.
    • If it passes parameters → Sent out to peer reviewers.
  3. 3 Peer Evaluation: Assigned reviewers thoroughly examine the scientific merit of the manuscript.
  4. 4 Editorial Review Decision: The Editor evaluates the collected reviewer feedback:
    • If accepted cleanly → Proceed directly to Production and Publication.
    • If improvements are needed → Author is formally requested to revise.
    • If deemed unsuitable → Rejected.
  5. 5 Author Revision: Author updates the manuscript based on comments and resubmits.
  6. 6 Secondary Review Check: The Editor evaluates the changes to see if further validation is required:
    • If yes → Sent back to peer reviewers for re-evaluation.
    • If no → Editor reaches the definitive concluding status.
  7. 7 Final Approval: If accepted post-revision → Transferred directly to Production and Publication.
